Sudanese Humanitarian, NBA Star Manute Bol Remembered at Tribute

A giant on the court and off, Manute Bol was remembered Tuesday night as more than a famous basketball player, but also a humanitarian and advocate for the people of southern Sudan and rescuer of war orphans known as the Lost Boys.
Although the 7’7″ tall Bol’s life was cut short in June by acute kidney failure, those gathered in the Pryzbyla Center Great Room want to make sure his dream is continued.
